Hound Collars
Designed specifically for small and large hounds including Italian Greyhounds, Whippets, Greyhounds and Lurchers, these collar's have a special 'fishtail' design which prevents it from slipping over their slim heads and protects their delicate windpipes. Because hound's heads are narrower than their necks, ordinary collars can easily slip off or even cause pain or injury to the dog as they have little fat to protect their neck. These collars are sturdy enough that the dog cannot slip the collar when out on a walk, but are comfortable enough for walkies that last hours! These collars should be worn high on the neck – just below the ears and snugly adjusted. These collars are not suitable for all dog breeds, brachycephalic breeds such as pugs should definitely never wear a hound collar due to their breathing issues. Classic Dog Collar
A classic for a reason, the most traditional style of dog collar is made with an adjustable buckle and leather trimming. These collars are hardwearing, making them a great choice for larger breeds (or small strong ones!) Our classic dog collars use high quality buckles and solid D rings, secured by two rivets for maximum security. These collars offer slightly less adjustability than other styles, so may be more suited to an adult dog that has already reached their full size. These collars are also a little bit more difficult to take on and off so may not be suitable for dogs that attend daycare. Many people love the classic look of this design and we agree - it's a good one! Adjustable Vegan Dog Collar
An adjustable collar is made with a sturdy plastic clasp and can be adjusted to different sizes using the metal slider buckle. A fully adjustable collar like this may be a better choice for a younger dog as it allows for a greater range of size adjustments as your dog grows. The design of these collars also makes them leather free so they are perfect for anyone following a vegan or vegetarian lifestyle.
