We are so excited to introduce our very first 'yoga with dogs' class on the 26th August at 9:30 AM celebrating #InternationalDogDay with our lovely new pack in Margate.
The class is run by our yoga pair extraordinaire @yogawithamie and @hegarty.jen and designed for humans to connect further with their dogs through slow breathing and easy, synchronised movements. Some of the benefits of doga include: increased flexibility, helping to resolve behavioral issues, reducing stress, lowering blood pressure and aiding in digestion.

Jen shares her love for animals and yoga, and why she thinks this is a class not to be missed. "As a vet of ten years and a recently qualified yoga teacher, I would never have thought that my love of animals and my love of yoga could somehow be combined... This class will be an amazing opportunity - both for humans and for their canine companions! What's more, the money raised will go to a very worthwhile cause: the People's Dispensary for Sick Animals - a charity that does vital work for dogs in this area and across the UK."
Amie is a fully qualified, Yoga Alliance registered teacher based in Margate, Kent. She runs regular classes for humans in our King Fishery Room above our store in Margate, shares her love for the millennial practise with fluffy dog Hector. Hector is black cocker spaniel with floppy ears and big bear-like paws. Amie and Hector are best friends and practice yoga together all the time. The pooch's favourite posture is definitely savasana and his mantra is let sleeping dogs lie.
