Feline Lonely Valentine’s Day event

On the look out for your purrfect partner...? We love this initiative by the Battersea Cats & Dogs Home bringing together cat lovers and their potential new furry friends. Blending bubbly with balls of fur, the event is set to be a relaxed way to spend this Valentine’s Day.

Those that find true love can give a new forever home to one of the 3,000 cats the charity takes in each year.

When: February 14th 2017

What: Day-time event with cats at its core

Where: 4 Battersea Park Rd, London SW8 4AA

Why: Because what’s not to like about champagne and cats

How: Get tickets at the Feline Lonely event page

Lady and the Tramp at The Book Club

Established Shoreditch meeting point the Book Club is being transformed into Tony’s Town Square Restaurant from the wonderful Disney classic, ‘Lady and the Tramp’. What makes it extra quirky is that not only is there a special dog-friendly screening, but everything is kitted up to ensure your pooch has an equally special Valentine’s night!

For the humans, there’s romance: candles on checked tablecloths, chefs in white, spaghetti and meatballs plus an accordion player.

For your hounds: a free bottle of canine wine CharDOGnay and meatball treats.

When: February 14th 2017 at 7:30pm

What: Lady and the Tramp dog-friendly screening

Why: To recreate that spaghetti scene

Where: The Book Club, 100 Leonard St, EC2.

How: Free entry for dogs, humans pay £7. Get your tickets here

Valentine’s Walk by All dogs matter

For the more active types, the late morning walk organised by canine charity, All Dogs Matter, will be sure to give you that Sunday funday fix.

Tickets are just £5 per pooch and include treats from the lovely folks at Lily’s kitchen and a best dressed competition. After the walk there’ll be time to meet and greet the other participating couples and grab a spot of lunch from the dog-friendly Garden Gate pub.

When: Sunday February 12th 2017 from 10:30am to 12pm.

What: Human and hound walk and dress up competition.

Why: Because all proceeds go back to the rescue and rehoming of dogs in London.

Where: Meeting point at The Garden Gate pub, Hampstead, NW3 2QE.

How: Dressed up. You can pre-register by emailing info@alldogsmatter.co.uk
