We know that a lot of our customers live a vegetarian or vegan lifestyle, and for many of them, this extends to the products they buy for their pets. After receiving a huge amount of requests to make an animal-product free accessories range, we are so excited to finally launch our new vegan range! We have rigorously tested different materials and designs to make sure that the new vegan range maintains the same quality and durability that you would expect from Hiro + Wolf products. The new range is still designed and sampled in our Margate workshop under the watchful eyes of the in-house hounds, before being skilfully stitched by Jayne in Staffordshire, using all vegan-friendly materials. And the best part is £1 from the sale of every product in the new Hiro + Wolf vegan range will be donated to local vegan animal sanctuary, The Retreat Animal Rescue to support the incredible work that they do.
Rather than using a buckle closure, which meant using a non-vegan leather, our vegan collection features the same durable clasp that we use for our dog harnesses, so we know that they are top quality! We’ve also sourced some fancy Neo-chrome hardware to add a touch of luxury to our easily adjustable webbing backed collars, as well as to compliment our fabulously colourful designs. These colourful clasps also feature on the leather free leads - don't worry, our vegan leads will still have the high quality 'lobster claw' trigger snap hooks as our other leads for extra security, just in the new colourful neo-chrome. And the whole collection will be complete with our new silver embroidered labels, so your pooch can go walkies in total style.
And don't forget, our current collection of Dog & Cat Bow Ties, Dog & Cat Bandanas and Dog Harnesses are already and will continue to be vegan friendly - so now it is possible to have a complete vegan-friendly set for your canine companion! Our collection of Crochet Cat & Dog Toys are also suitable for vegans as they are made using a strong cotton yarn and polyester stuffing - perfect for plant-based pets.
