Our Favourite Animal Accounts to Follow This Easter
Happy Easter! It's no secret that we are a pack of animal lovers here at Hiro + Wolf, so what better way to celebrate Easter than to share with you some of our favourite Instagram accounts full of cute sheep, chickens, bunny rabbits and more! Why not give them all a follow for a daily dose of cuteness on your feed.
Peanut and Butter not only have the best names we could think of for 2 bunnies, they are also super in love! They are free-roaming minilops living in the UK with their owner Tamara, who runs their Instagram account. If you want to see cute rabbits and amazing houseplants, this is definitely the account for you to follow! Tamara also runs a blog where she chats all things rabbit care, house plants, home decor and of course Peanut and Butter.
The Retreat is an animal sanctuary based in Kent. They have been rescuing animals since 1989 and are passionate about saving farm animals, horses and wildlife from neglect, abuse and the meat industry. They are home to over 1250 rescue animals, all of whom often feature on their Instagram! If you are an animal lover then you must give them a follow. We love getting to know each animals personality through what they share online. If you are lucky enough to live nearby, we highly recommend that you pay them a visit to see all the adorable animals in person and visit their on-site, delicious, all-vegan café. Olive is an adorable mini rex rabbit living in Japan. She shares photos of her adventures on her Instagram account where she has over 130k followers and has recently started a YouTube channel. She is well-known for her unique, funny facial expressions and for her love of munching on vegetables.
Urban Clucks is an adorable Instagram page full of colourful and cute snaps of lots of different breeds of chicken! Linzy that runs the page starting sharing her backyard flock online fairly recently, and they have quickly gained a strong following of over 20k followers. If you've never seen how playful chickens can be, Urban Clucks' Instagram page will certainly show you - each of Linzy's chickens are bursting with personality. We have a soft spot for Henne.
Sheep Ahoy, also known as Oli's Gang, are another Kent based animal rescue centre. The centre was founded in 2012 by a mother and daughter team, named Julia and Emma. They are dedicated to rescuing sheep and goats that have been abused, neglected and abandoned. They are currently trying to raise enough money to keep all the sheep together in one place and build a visitors centre which you can donate towards here. Their Instagram page is bursting with adorable pictures of lamps, sheep and the occasional goat! We love seeing all the sheep living a happy, free life.
